BROCK at bauma 2010
A successful first impression
We exhibited for the first time at the bauma exhibition in Munich from the 19th to the 25th of April 2010 and were pleased with this rewarding start. Even during the exhibition it became clear that our participation was a success, with numerous interested visitors coming to the stand and responding positively.
We would like to warmly thank those concerned for the interesting discussions and contributions on our stand.

The GT 2-system track cleaner from BROCK and Bergmann
Two professionals, two ventures, a two-system vehicle
The GT 2-system track cleaner is a carrier vehicle that can travel both on rails and on the road and is the second Brock and Bergmann joint project. With all-wheel drive, articulated vehicle steering and the railway wheel units which allows speeds of up to 40 km/h, the GT 2-system track cleaner is an all-round talent. This dual-mode system, combined with the BROCK sweeper unit provides an extremely interesting alternative for industrial plant and tram networks, where it can be used as a shunting and sweeping vehicle as well as a network maintenance vehicle.

The new powerhouse: The Mammoth
BROCK plus BERGMANN Maschinenbau:
The combination of the BERGMANN GT 3006 tool carrier with articulated steering and the BROCK SL 140 sweeper unit results in an individually deployable tool carrier, which can be equally effective as a sweeper and, for example, as a mower or as a clearing and gritting vehicle for winter service. Oil trace removal
Removal of oil residues in one operation: A hot water system, a sliding oil residue removal unit and manual vacuuming make it possible.
Hot water system
3 hot water boilers bring the water to a temperature of 80°C at a flow rate of approx. 60 l/min. The water outlet temperature for oil residue removal > 80°C at max. 300 bar. Pick-up on both sides is possible as a matter of course.
Sliding oil residue removal unit
3 rotary heads, each with 2 jets apply the hot water to the oil residue at high pressure. This creates an emulsion that is directly vacuumed away. The application of chemicals is also possible. The sliding unit is mounted forward of the front wheels and can be moved to both left or right hand sides, extending outside the vehicle track.This makes deployment of the unit extremely flexible.
Manual pick-up
New: an easily mounted hand vacuum unit enables personnel to pick-up the oil residue manually.
